General Instructions for All Patients

  1. If possible we prefer to consult with all patients on a day prior to surgery.

  2. Do not eat or drink anything for 8 hours prior to your surgery.

  3. Arrange for a friend or relative to drive you home after your operation. You may not under any circumstance drive or operate machinery until the next day.

  4. The night before surgery eat a light meal and retire early. Do not consume any alcoholic beverage.

  5. Please refrain from smoking for at least one day prior to surgery.

  6. Your mouth and teeth should be well cleaned to help avoid infection.

 

We have a great concern for all of our patients and want all surgeries and recoveries to go unhindered. It is critical that patients follow the necessary instructions before and after their surgery in order to ensure a safe experience.
